For parking follow the utility road to the right of the kiosk and park along the softball practice field. No Dogs are allowed on campus.

The FRC Community Trail and trailhead kiosk were built by FRC students in a class called Interpretive Trail Design and Construction (Spring 2006). The mapping and interpretive and directional signs were completed by the Campus Conservation class (Spring 2007), both taught by Darrel Jury.

There are many businesses and organizations that have donated materials and time to the project and over 800 volunteer hours have been logged – this is truly a community trail. Both the FRC Community Trail’s construction and Trails for Plumas County’s initial organization were funded by the same federal grant.

The Feather River College Community Trail is a 1-mile loop trail with interpretive signs. Look for “Pack-Rat” interpretive boxes. The initial grade is steep but short and the rest of the trail has gentle grades. Enjoy, explore, and tread lightly.
